What a fun session! Little Reba got pretty serious about her farming with her new John Deere!

We had some great weather for Brogan’s six month photos a few days ago.  What a sweetheart with those beautiful eyes and don’t you just love that hat!  

It’s hard to believe that it’s already been six months since little Miss Rory was born!  As her Mom tells us, Rory is full of spunk and we have certainly loved watching her develop her own unique personality. 

Last week I took a quick trip over to Lawrence to meet Paxton for a photo session.  What a sweet little guy, and oh, so photogenic!

We’re so excited for Amy and Kevin as they await the arrival of their new baby boy!  Congratulations to both of you and your wonderful families!

We recently had the opportunity to photograph little Miss Reba – what a sweet little girl!  A couple of years ago we photographed Reba’s parents’ wedding, and it’s so exciting to watch their family grow.  We’re looking forward to a fun year of pictures.  Congratulations Katy and Daniel on your beautiful little bundle of joy!

A few weeks ago we shared some maternity pictures of the beautiful Megan and her husband Lee.  Last year we were lucky enough to shoot their wedding and we were so excited to hear that this year they had a baby on the way.

Baby Miliana made her appearance in the world earlier this month and last week they stopped by for her newborn photo session.  Such a sweet and beautiful little girl!

Last week I was blessed with the opportunity to meet Mr. Jacoby Brown.

A few of years ago we were honored to photograph his mommy and daddy’s wedding.  Since being born, Jacoby has had one battle after another with cancer, along with a many other complications.  He’s spent most of his young life in the hospital and our hearts have been with the family as we’ve watched the steps forward and backward over the last several months.

A while back I called Dusty to see how they were doing and offering our help with anything they needed.  We knew what we had to offer was so little in comparison to all they needed, but we wanted to help in any way we could.  And I told Dusty, as soon as you would like, we would love to give you a photo shoot for your family.

I got my wish.  The other day Mr. Jacoby showed up at the studio.  No tubes, no pain.  Just a bunch of smiles and a shirt that summed it all up,  it said: Hero.   Jacoby is still going through pocedures and he and his family still have a tough road ahead, but that didn’t phase him at all.  He almost had more smiles than I had memory cards for my camera.   I am so honored for this opportunity and it was my pleasure to meet Jacoby.
